The old Robinson bulbs only last 50 hours and cost around $35 to replace. That's $ 0.70 per hour as apposed to the HID system at $0.33 per hour. So, for less than half the cost with twice the light—and double the benefits without any of the hassle—you could be safer than you are today. This is one of the easiest decisions in aviation!
