Course overview
This course is designed for the pilot looking to work in the agricultural world as a professional helicopter applicator. Specialized Helicopters has teamed up with Gomes Farm Air Service Inc. to provide a high level of pilot training from one of the worlds most experienced helicopter Ag operators. You will learn from the bottom up and do it in a way that gives you a complete overview and understanding of the entire operation and all that a pilot must know to excel in this field. Your training will consist of flight, ground and field training. You will learn both the flying and ground crew duties and responsibilities plus attain a working knowledge of how the business works so that you can perform at the highest levels.

Information

General learning hours:

 • 80 hours "Ag-pilot life experience" Shadowing Ag pilot's duties including: ride along in the bell 47, loader, field preparation, personnel and office staff, customer service and more
• 35 hours of flight instruction
• 40 hours of ground instruction

       * Flight time can be increased or courses modified for individuals or groups depending on your requirements
      * Company training available

Prerequisits:

• 100 hours helicopterr

• 50 hours Robinson

• Commercial pilot certificate

• Good attitude, quick response time and clear head
