Prerequisites

  • For students that plan on becoming a professional helicopter pilot and atain their CFI and CFII ratings in helicopter.

  • Be less than 180 pounds flight weight

  • Complete and pass an in person interview and pilot skills test

  • Hold at least a class 2 medical and Comm with IFR rating pilot certificate

  • Have the ability to complete both the CFI and CFII courses within 8 weeks or less.

Program

  • Complete your CFI and CFII ratings in helicopter with Specialized

  • Contract to work at Specialized for no less than a 18 month term

  • Fly as a commercial pilot and flight instructor in R22/R44 helicopters under 91 commercial operations, 91 and 135 tours and 135 Charter, aerial photography and other flight opeations as assigned and qualified at the time.
